Specific to Brighton and Hove are significantly higher rates of Ketamine, MDMA and Cocaine use. Such is the dependency levels in the area that nearly one in ten residents are using MDMA to a concerning degree while one in five are cocaine dependent.  Alcohol rates are also higher than the national average, as is dependency on cannabis, especially in the 18-26 year old age group.

There is a residential centre available, a stones throw from Brighton and this can provide a whole range of treatment plans for drug and alcohol dependencies.
