The World Health Organisation, in January 2023 published advice off the back of a paper in the
Lancet (a world renowned British medical journal) which states that there are health concerns,
including cancer, even for those who drink moderately.
This meta analysis study found that , even low level alcohol consumption, can be linked to early mortality. The study reviewed evidence from 107 studies which looked at data from over 4.8 million people with the data being collected over a forty one year period.
